CSR and Corporate Governance

The growing pressure on businesses to make financial provision for environmental and social risks are forcing companies to focus their efforts on ensuring that their businesses are financially sustainable.  In the US this is largely through the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and in the UK through the EU Accounting Directive and UK Companies Act.  CRA recognises the linkage between corporate social responsibility and corporate governance and can support companies in developing programmes under either or both of these banners.  Ultimately, both CSR and corporate governance programmes are based on the analysis and management of similar environmental and related issues, which can be delivered by our CSR and environmental consultants.  CRA can help clients demonstrate their CSR performance by reporting to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3 guidelines.  We provide services in date collection, report planning, drafting, publishing and verification.
