Site Investigation (Phase II)

Site investigations are undertaken to assess the environmental condition of the ground and groundwater beneath a site and/or to assess the engineering parameters of the soils.  Site Investigation / Phase II assessments are often undertaken during site divestiture / acquisition programs where vendors wish to sell a site and the liabilities associated with it and purchasers wish to know exactly what liabilities they are acquiring.

Every site investigation is tailored to the individual site, the issues that may be associated with that site, the likely ground conditions at the site and the proposed future use of the site.  CRA is highly experienced at developing and implementing efficient intrusive investigation programs, with experience in virtually all commercial and industrial sectors.

Investigation programs can include:

• Soil, Sediment, Surface Water, and Groundwater
   Sampling and Analysis;
• Waste Characterization;
• Underground Storage Tank Investigation;
• Ecological Site Assessments (species, habitat, etc.);
• Regulatory Agency Research, Liaison, and Assistance;
• Asbestos Surveys;
• Environmental forensic assessment;
• Environmental Risk Assessment; and
• Identification of potential liabilities and remedial cost estimates.
