CDM Coordinator

The new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM 2007), which came into force in April 2007, apply to almost all common building, civil engineering, and engineering construction work, particularly if these activities are expected to last in excess of 30 days or involve more than 500 person days of construction related work. CRA is experienced in working under CDM Regulations and offers the following CDM coordination services during construction, abatement work, decommissioning/demolition, and redevelopment of installations:

  • Notifying the HSE of the project
  • Planning stage coordination of H&S
  • Preparing a pre-construction H&S plan
  • Monitoring all contractors on site during the construction phase to ensure compliance with applicable H&S regulations
  • Vetting and appproval of risk assessments and method statements
  • Documenting all visits, audits, and inspections
