Case Study - Due Diligence, France
CRA was retained to carry out a joint Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for a multi-national photographic company in Paris, France. The objective of the study was to identify all Recognised Environmental Conditions (REC's) associated with the Site that could affect the potential asset value of the Site in future negotiations. The study included the following activities:
- A desktop review of historical records and information
- Detailed review of Site operational records
- Interviews with Site personnel, Site walkover and verification
- Collection of soil, groundwater and surface water samples
- Laboratory analysis of samples
- Interpretation and reporting of the results
In addition, a number of supplementary studies were also undertaken under sub-contract to CRA including:
- Buildings survey
- Drainage survey
- Topographic survey
