Consultant (£20-27k) and Senior Contaminated Land Consultant (£26-39k)  
Location: Nottingham

Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA) is an international environmental consultancy, running European operations from a dynamic office in Nottingham.  Since the early 1970's we have worked for some of the world's largest multinationals, on projects ranging from individual due diligence studies to global environmental policy implementation.  We employ over 3,000 staff working in more than 90 offices worldwide.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Contaminated Land Consultant and a Senior Contaminated Land Consultant with at least 3 years of experience gained within a consultancy environment.  You will be a confident, dynamic and motivated individual, with a second-to-none technical track record, have a keen eye for detail and a desire to continually meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.

Candidates should possess the following attributes and experience: 

• Experience in designing, supervising and managing contaminated land site investigations, including detailed inspections under Part IIA and risk assessments;
• Demonstrable experience in a diverse range of contaminated land projects and hydrogeological assessments;
• Experience performing environmental site assessments (Phase I, Phase II etc.) and undertaking remediation projects would be advantageous;
• The ability to undertake risk assessments is desirable, but not essential;
• Clear and concise project report and proposal writing skills; and
• Project co-ordination skills, including an understanding of meeting deadlines and budgets.

You will be educated in a core science or engineering discipline. You will be an excellent team worker, capable of using your technical skills to assist with driving the company forward. You must also be willing to travel.

The initial salary depends on experience. Further remuneration and individual development will be merit-driven. The employment package includes pension plan and private medical cover.
